Simran Khanna, also known as Ritu Khanna, is the younger sister of the actress Chahat Khanna. Chahat, who played the role of Ayesha in Sony TV’s “Bade Achche Lagte Hain,” encouraged Simran to enter the television industry.

Simran’s first acting role was in Crime Patrol’s episode 212, where she played the character of Megha. Since then, she has appeared in several other episodes of Crime Patrol, as well as in the shows “Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil” and “Mata Ki Chowki.”

Like many others, Simran values a relaxed and stress-free lifestyle. She places a high importance on her health and fitness and enjoys exercising. As a food lover, she enjoys both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine, with Punjabi food being her favorite Indian cuisine. She particularly loves rice and chicken.

Simran was born and raised in Mumbai, where she attended St. Louis Convent School in Andheri before moving on to university in Mumbai.
